Your Notebook

What is the Notebook?

The Notebook is the central hub for all the information about your project in Story Prism. It's where you organize everything you want the AI assistant to know, creating a comprehensive resource for the AI to draw upon. The more complete and organized your Notebook is, the better the AI can assist you.

How do I organize information in the Notebook?

The Notebook lets you break down your project into individual notes, each focused on a specific topic or aspect. For each note:

  • Give it a Descriptive Title: This helps you quickly find and identify the information.

  • Choose a Category Tag: Select a single tag that best describes the type of information the entry contains. This helps the AI understand the context. You can create your own tags as needed.

  • (Optional) Connect Related Information: Show the AI how different entries relate to each other by linking them together.

What kind of information should I put in the Notebook?

Anything that's relevant to your project! Here are some ideas:

  • Character Details: Information about your characters' backgrounds, personalities, goals, and relationships.

  • Scene Outlines: Summaries or drafts of your scenes.

  • Worldbuilding: Details about your world's history, geography, cultures, and rules.

  • Plot Points: Descriptions of key events and turning points in your story.

  • Themes and Ideas: Notes exploring the central themes and messages of your work.

  • Research: Any relevant research you've gathered.

  • Timeline: Key events organized in chronological order
